Being held hostage by bad decisions?

“It is better to make a midcourse correction and suffer a little shame, than to wait too long and be humiliated by our stubbornness.” Boyd Bailey

I have observed as an executive coach that when a leader has the courage to make a midcourse correction they earn respect. People are relieved and chalk it up to being human. When they choose to “save face,” they actually lose their credibility due to the negative business impact.

There is a difference between having pride in your work and having too much pride.

Are you being held hostage by a bad decision?
