Common Courtesy

Common courtesy is not that common today. I did a poll of employees at 36 health plans. I asked the question, “What could management do to increase morale without costing money?” All 36 groups said, “common courtesy.” The examples they used were “good morning,” “please” and “thank you.” Wow.

People smarts is not that complex. Be kind.

“Be kind, for everyone you meet is facing a hard battle.” Plato
